Our Network

During the 2003 blackout our servers continued to work without any down time. Our network provider Peer1 power was uninterrupted. Other hosts are not able to provide such service continuity. Read more

Electrical Facility A reliable source of primary power is of paramount importance to the 24/7/365 operation. Ensuring a reliable power supply from the local substation proved to be an expensive, but necessary venture. In 2001, two new 4000/5000KVA transformers were added to ensure the reliability of power supply. These transformers are fed by dual underground 13.8 Kv feeder lines from the local substation. At the utility end, reliability is further enhanced by a substation design that uses two double winding transformers to supply a double breaker, double bus configuration. With power supply being such a critical element of our concerns, it offers peace of mind to know that our supplier takes as much responsibility for adding redundancy into their supply as we do.

District cooling provides chilled water to the building according to pre-determined temperature, capacity, and consumption. This ensures a reliable chilled water supply that can easily grow with the buildings need. Current load is handled by an 800- ton heat exchanger which, by design, can be doubled. The district chilled water supply is augumented with a 325-ton centrifugal chiller on 15-minute stand-by for supplemental cooling and a newly upgraded cooling tower, which provides environmental cooling in the cold months.

Diesel Farm

Electrical Facility To support the generator power plant our facility uses environmentally compliant diesel fuel storage facilities can house up to 44,000 gallons of fuel in tenant-owned tanks that provide fuel to the generators. Our facility owns the street which runs along the back of the property, thus refueling trucks and roll-up generators have unrestricted access to the building to ensure the 24/7/365 operation of their facilities during an emergency. Each tenant has ultimate control over the size of the tank and the pumping needs. Typically, fuel will last 48 to 72 hours, bearing in mind, there is no restriction on refueling requirements. Double pumps are installed to mitigate single point of failure.
